AS MEDIA Introduction

As the start of a new project, we looked at the brief in detail and decided on what we would do as part of our pre-production. We watched different opening sequences and individually analysed them before sharing with the group collective ideas of what similarities were found between them.

The opening sequences I have decided to analyse are:

• Se7en (American Thriller)
• This is England (British Drama)
• Saw III (Horror)

I have chosen to analyse the opening sequences of these three films as they are all of different genres and we are still to decide on which genre we will base our opening sequence on.
